I am a full stack software engineer with a preference for Angular and NestJS, and a passion for progressive web apps.
I like straightforward, predictable architecture that humans and agents alike can easily work with, and intuitive applications that end users can quickly find their way around.
An application is not perfect when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.
While I have a preference for boring but proven technologies and design choices, I am not afraid of change. Change is an important part of my work. The biggest shift in recent years has been the sudden transition from writing all the code myself to directing AI agents.
I enjoy figuring out how to work effectively in a field that is evolving rapidly. On my blog, I share how my agentic workflow evolves.
Language and writing have always been important interests of mine, and software development gives me plenty of opportunities to put them to use. What I find fantastic about software engineering is that you can bring extremely complex solutions back to simple language that everyone understands.
In my free time, I currently spend much of my time mountain biking, exploring random towns and villages nearby by bike, learning scouting knots and Morse code, and studying various languages. I also enjoy playing guitar and piano, playing chess, and table tennis.
